Liani Greaves is an independent producer, strategic consultant and personal coach who has
enjoyed a colorful and exciting career in the media and non-profit industries. Her work in film
began as an intern on Columbia Pictures, I Like it Like That and as the Assistant to Director Jeff
Pollack on New Line Cinema’s Above The Rim.
She went on to manage and coordinate production on several music videos, eventually joining
Big Dog Films as Director’s Representative to Hype Williams and brokering music videos for

late 90’s as the Manager of Entertainment for the AIDS Walks and AIDS Dance-a-thons around
the country. Her work identifying and soliciting participation from key celebrities, including
Madonna, Whitney Houston, Susan Sarandon and Queen Latifah, helped to raise the profile
and impact of the AIDS Walk brand around the country.
Liani went on to build a respected practice as a producer, fundraiser and special projects
manager for high-profile individuals and non-profit organizations. Select clients and projects
include the Aestrea Lesbian Foundation, former Newark Mayor Cory Booker's Inaugural
Community Event at Essex County College, African Services Committee and GMHC. She has
conceived and produced several successful fundraising campaigns and events including Art,
Rhymes & Life: Draw the Line on HIV, A Woman’s Work - a fundraising benefit for the Women’s
Prison Association and You Rock My Soul - a fundraising benefit concert at Carnegie Hall for
GMHC. In 2005, she had the honor of working alongside her grandfather, documentarian
William Greaves and actor Steve Buscemi on the feature film, Symbiopyschotaxiplasm: Take 2,
